EA The Sims Pets: Play Both Ways

The Sims Pets was the first in the Sims series that allowed people to play as humans or animals. To introduce this game mechanic, we created a sexually suggestive mandog (half man and half schnauzer) to serve as the game's spokesperson. Meet Trevor Mountleg.

The campaign was a brilliant success with over a million hits and a cease and desist letter for obscenity in the UK. It became the most successful Twitter campaign for a video game ever (and by “Ever” I mean, at that time). Also, the campaign was a nominee for "Best Overall Campaign" at the Games Marketing Summit, the equivalent of the Oscars for the gaming world.

On Launch Day, this YouTube masthead with a live Twitter broadcast led fans to Trevor's Twitter handle where he talked with fans and celebs all day long. Below are a few of Trevor's tweets.
